Herzegovina
I’m walking with a friend. I don’t know where I am: what is this place, does it have a name. I’m followed by the pastel colors of landscapes, smell of different plants, the greyness of stones my father walked on. Everything is coming together – memories, ancestors, and distances melting in a photograph… I can clearly see where the past and present touch. I have to take photographs for the youth. So they would remember. So they would know where their ancestros come from and how they lived.
Herzegovina – a place of all encounters and all times. Strange, brutal, beautiful…
